Quote with the named place and edition, for example “FOB Nhava Sheva, Incoterms 2020”. Add a buffer for exchange-rate moves and state how long the quote is valid.
How it works
- EXW = units × production cost × (1 + margin), plus export packing.
- FOB = EXW + inland transport + customs broker, documents and port charges.
- CFR = FOB + freight to the destination port.
- CIF = CFR + insurance premium (as a percentage of CFR).
The example figures are placeholders, not typical costs. Replace every one with your own quotes. GST isn't included: exports are zero-rated with a Letter of Undertaking. Export incentives such as RoDTEP are left out on purpose; treat them as a bonus, not part of the price.
